The Hanoi People's Committee has officially launched the Science, Technology and Innovation Development Fund to support the capital's development, the cultivation of high-quality human resources, and innovation activities.
Purpose of the Fund and Establishment Decision
Vu Dai Thang, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, signed Decision No. 4989/QD-UBND on September 14, 2026, regarding the establishment of the Hanoi Science, Technology and Innovation Development Fund.
The newly established fund aims to focus on issues of great importance for the capital's development and to increase the self-sufficiency of the economy.
Areas of Activity and Financial Support
Operating as a non-profit organization, the entity possesses legal personality and its own seal.
The fund undertakes the financing of programs, projects, and tasks in the fields of science, technology, and innovation.
Additionally, it will provide financial support for digital transformation, technology transfer, and the commercialization of intellectual property.
Management Structure and Institutional Organs
The newly established entity performs its duties within the specified institutional framework.
The organizational chart of the fund consists of the Fund Management Council, the Fund Executive Agency, and the Fund Supervisory Board.
