High school students in Hatay develop robot with domestic software for TEKNOFEST
Five students coming together from different high schools in Hatay have succeeded in producing a remote-controlled prototype robot after eight months of work.
Five high school students studying at the Dörtyol Chamber of Commerce and Industry Informatics and Technology Workshop in Hatay have developed a remote-controlled four-wheeled robot prototype with domestic software, aiming to win first place at TEKNOFEST Southeast.
CEZERİTECH_GM Team Established
Five different high school students studying within the body of the Dörtyol Chamber of Commerce and Industry Informatics and Technology Workshop in Hatay brought the CEZERİTECH_GM Team to life to carry out a collaborative work.
Project Revenue from Charging Station
All materials needed by the youth for this project they brought to life were financed with the revenue generated from the electric vehicle charging station located behind the Dörtyol Chamber of Commerce and Industry service building.
Product of Eight Months of Work
At the end of an intensive working process lasting approximately eight months, the students designed a four-wheeled robot prototype capable of movement under terrain conditions and remotely controlled with domestic software.
Aiming for the Finals in Şanlıurfa
With this original robot prototype they designed, the students are targeting first place at the TEKNOFEST Southeast competitions to be held at Şanlıurfa GAP Airport between September 30 and October 4.
Inspiring Future Technologies
Team advisor Enes Aksoy stated that every part of the robot was designed by the students, and conveyed that the prototype could be transformed into larger systems that could be used in space or underwater missions in the future.

While team captain Meryem Fato emphasized that they drew and produced the parts themselves, Muhammed Eren Çetin and Emir Kaya also expressed their belief that they will return from the competition with a ranking.
