Mersin Metropolitan Municipality City Orchestra opens new art season

The Mersin Metropolitan Municipality City Orchestra opened the 2026-2027 art season with a special concert held at Kültür Park. Performing under the direction of Conductor Anıl Aydın, the ensemble appeared before art lovers with a wide repertoire.

The Mersin Metropolitan Municipality City Orchestra kicked off the new art season with a grand concert held at the amphitheater located in Kültür Park. Accompanied by a unique view of the Mediterranean, the event drew intense interest from local residents.
Wide repertoire and future plans
Under the direction of Conductor Anıl Aydın, the orchestra presented a rich repertoire of beloved works in the season's first concert. Aydın stated that they will continue to perform before audiences with different themes and works throughout the season.
Tüba Kaya Sanal, Head of the Department of Culture, Art and Social Affairs, emphasized that the municipality's cultural and artistic activities continued uninterrupted throughout the summer. Sanal announced that the new season program, which will run from September through May, is ready.
