Ho Chi Minh City is establishing a special technology ecosystem by allocating approximately 53 hectares of strategic land for investors engaged in artificial intelligence, data centers, semiconductors, and core technology R&D activities.
Investor Consultation Conference Held
The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee held an Investor Consultation Conference on the Steering of the Construction of the Strategic Technology Development Center on the afternoon of August 26.
During this meeting, the general direction, functional spatial planning, and policy framework of the center were introduced in detail to domestic and foreign investors.
Future Vision and Strategic Objectives
Nguyen Van Duoc, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, shared with the public the critical importance of the center for the city's long-term vision.
The city aims to become a modern urban center in Southeast Asia by 2030 and Asia's scientific and technological hub by 2045.
Built Upon the High-Tech Park
The newly established Strategic Technology Development Center is built upon the foundations of the already operational Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park.
This infrastructure move aims to further strengthen the region's technological infrastructure and create an attractive hub for investors.
Closed-Loop Technology Chain
The project offers a closed loop encompassing all processes from research and development to commercialization.
In this context, all stages of R&D, prototyping, Sandbox, Testbed, and commercialization will be integrated within the same ecosystem.
