During a science and technology conference held in Lai Chau, it was proposed that the province be selected as a pilot area for controlled testing models and artificial intelligence applications.
Purpose of the Conference
A comprehensive scientific conference was organized in Lai Chau to enhance the importance of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation in development.
Socio-economic growth dynamics of the region were addressed at the event, which was implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Intellectual Property Office.

Dr. Duong Dinh Duc, Director of the Lai Chau Department of Science and Technology, emphasized the critical role of innovation in increasing the economy's competitiveness.
Experts stated that in order to achieve success in production and social life, information must be digitized and the right technological approach must be selected.
Pilot Area and Sandbox Proposal
The development of controlled testing models that allow new technologies to be tested in a safe environment became one of the main agenda items of the meeting.
Nguyen Tuan Anh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, requested that the region become a pilot area for artificial intelligence applications.
Implementation and Results Obtained
It was stated that following the pilot test authorization, three controlled models were put into operation in a short time, and initial positive results were achieved regarding the shortening of processes.
