Tarsus was the final stop of the Mind and Intelligence Games Festival, organized by the Mersin Metropolitan Municipality to bring children together with science, technology, and production.
Games Developing Cognitive Skills
During the event held at the Ötüken Valley Park Women and Children Workshop, children both had fun with various games and improved skills such as strategy and memory.
Recycling and Technology-Focused Designs
At the event organized by the teams of the Department of Women and Family Services, games prepared using recycled materials and 3D printers were presented to the appreciation of the children.
Young Volunteers Accompanied the Children
High school student young volunteers, who benefited from the workshop throughout the summer vacation and completed their training, supported the children dancing to music.
Workshop Studies and Winter Term Goals
Emre Aşkın, the Officer of the Ötüken Valley Park Women and Children Workshop, stated that they provided robotic coding and game training throughout the summer and that they will intensify their work during the winter term.
Aiming to Keep Children Away from Digital Screens
Municipal official Pervin Tekin expressed that with these events, they aim for children both to have fun and to stay away from digital screens.
