Minister Kacır Emphasizes Deepened Industrial and Technological Cooperation with Germany

Economic Relations and Trade Volume
Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır stated at the German Unity Day reception in Ankara that the trade volume between the two countries reached 52.3 billion dollars last year. Stating that more than 8,600 German-capitalized companies operate in Turkey, Kacır emphasized that there is significant potential between the two countries regarding technology and the industries of the future.
High-Tech Investments and the HIT-30 Program
Stating that Turkey has increased its production capacity and strengthened its industrial infrastructure, Minister Kacır drew attention to the HIT-30 program targeting high-tech investments. He stated that this program offers opportunities for global investors, including German partners, to participate in next-generation high-tech investments.
European Integration and Supply Chain Warnings
Stating that Turkey has strong integration with European production networks, Kacır reported that the trade volume between Turkey and the EU has reached 233 billion dollars. He expressed that an approach that would disrupt established supply chains would affect producers and suppliers on both sides.

North Rhine-Westphalia State Prime Minister Hendrik Wüst stated that 1 million people of Turkish origin live in their state and that the two countries are close partners and friends. State Minister at the German Federal Foreign Office Serap Güler also emphasized that Turkey and Germany have always been close friends.
