Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Takes Chief Architect Step for Digital Transformation

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has officially enacted Decision No. 2376/QD-BVHTTDL regarding the selection and utilization of ministry-level chief architects to serve in the fields of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.

Official Adoption of the Regulation

Signed by Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Huy Dung, Decision No. 2376/QD-BVHTTDL sets out the procedures for the selection and utilization of ministry-level chief architects.

The newly enacted regulation aims to manage science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation processes more effectively.

Scope and Content Structure

Comprising a total of 6 chapters, 20 articles, and an appendix, this comprehensive regulation details the implementation principles of related policies.

The regulation governs the selection, employment, management, performance evaluation, and policy implementation of chief architects.

Working Regime Models

According to the established rules, chief architects to serve within the ministry will provide services under one of two different working regimes: part-time or full-time.

The working format will be shaped according to the positions of the candidates and the strategic planning in areas needed by the ministry.

Candidate Pool and Criteria

Candidates include civil servants, public employees, salaried personnel in the armed forces, and figures from various ministries and local governments.

Additionally, a broad candidate pool consisting of economic groups, domestic and foreign experts, and scientists is included in the process.

Duties and Responsibilities

The primary duties of the chief architects include developing strategic action plans and coordinating the system architecture within the ministry.

They will also assume active responsibilities in resolving technical issues and ensuring cybersecurity.
