The Ministry of Science and Technology met with provincial departments to hold a comprehensive briefing on the results of the third quarter of 2026.
During the conference, the results achieved in the first nine months of the year were reviewed, and various challenges at the grassroots level were discussed in detail.
Fund Disbursement and Projects
Minister Vu Hai Quan requested the urgent acceleration of fund disbursement processes allocated to science, technology, and innovation projects.
The submitted reports revealed that over a hundred tasks were proposed, but clear distinctions were not made among research types.
Emphasis on Five Core Tasks
To create breakthroughs in the final quarter of the year, the ministry prioritized the disbursement of project funds and the sharing of successful local experiences.
It was decided that local digital architecture frameworks would be reviewed against national standards and that any shortcomings would be addressed by early October.
Collaboration and Training
It was emphasized that provincial departments must work in close cooperation with the ministry during the drafting of legal regulations.
Additionally, an active participation call was made for the training program to be held at the end of October in cooperation with the Ministry and the Embassy of Singapore.
