Model Rocket Launch Festival Held by TEKNOMER in Ankara
Young people launched their rockets into the sky and participated in technology workshops at the festival led by Keçiören Municipality TEKNOMER.
Students brought their homemade rockets together with the sky at the Model Rocket Launch Festival held at Fatih Stadium by the Keçiören Municipality Prof. Dr. Tunçalp Özgen Technology Center.

The Model Rocket Launch Festival was held at Fatih Stadium by the Keçiören Municipality Prof. Dr. Tunçalp Özgen Technology Center.
The event, hosted by Keçiören Mayor Dr. Mesut Özarslan, was attended by protocol members, TEKNOFEST competitors, and youth.
Technology and Workshop Activities
At the festival, full of science and discovery, participants took part in robotic coding, VR glasses experience, planetaryum space tent, archery, and 3D pen workshops.
Young people experienced enjoyable moments and won surprise gifts in the quiz show organized at the Mobile Digital Youth Center.
Model Rocket Launch Excitement
The most exciting moment of the event was when students who completed model rocket training at TEKNOMER launched the rockets they prepared into the sky.
TEKNOFEST and Şanlıurfa Invitation
Mayor Mesut Özarslan stated in his speech at the program that they will participate in this year's TEKNOFEST with 19 teams.
Özarslan extended an invitation to the TEKNOFEST Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, which will be held in Şanlıurfa between September 30 and October 4, 2026.
