TEKNOFEST 2026 Competitions Continue
TEKNOFEST 2026 competitions, held at the Dicle University 15 July Congress and Culture Center under the main coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Turkey Technology Team Foundation, continue at full speed in Diyarbakır.
Stand Visits with Youth
Arriving at the competition area, Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır and T3 Foundation Board of Trustees Chairman Selçuk Bayraktar, accompanied by protocol members, visited the teams' stands and spoke with the youth.
Emphasis on Self-Confidence Revolution by Minister Kacır
In his statement, Minister Kacır stated that TEKNOFEST is Turkey's revolution of self-confidence and expressed that technology gains value to the extent that it serves humanity.
Record Participation Statement from Selçuk Bayraktar
Selçuk Bayraktar noted that a wind of technology is blowing in Diyarbakır within the scope of TEKNOFEST Southeast, and that 700,000 teams and 1.6 million students applied for the competitions this year.
National Technology Workshop Opened
Following the speeches, Minister Kacır and Selçuk Bayraktar attended the opening program of the National Technology Workshop established at the Dicle University Faculty of Engineering.
Target of 100 Workshops by the End of the Year
Minister Kacır announced that by the end of the year, they will have brought 100 National Technology Workshops to university campuses and that drone training will begin in these workshops.
Şanlıurfa Finals Awaited
Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the delegation visited the finalists at the Mesopotamia International Fair and Congress Center, noting that the grandest final program will be held in Şanlıurfa.
