The 682nd Brigade is tasked with managing and operating a modern coastal missile system, maintaining combat readiness, and contributing to the protection of the nation's maritime and island sovereignty in a strategic direction.

Combat power is fueled not only by modern weapon systems but also by the naval soldiers' knowledge, courage, and ambition to conquer science and technology.

Founding Era Challenges and Language Barrier

The operation, utilization, and maintenance of high-tech weapons and equipment were entirely new at first, and specialized training materials were mostly in Russian. While the young technical personnel and varying skill levels affected the process, the Brigade leadership organized training for the rapid deployment of new weapons.

New Approach to Training and Combat Readiness

The Brigade restructured its training based on the principle of being fundamental, practical, and solid, establishing the ability to accurately hit targets with missiles as the benchmark for training quality. The proficiency of the units has been enhanced in areas such as night training, mobile training, training under harsh weather conditions, and electronic jamming.

Technical Innovation and Achievements

English clubs and Russian learning groups were established to improve foreign language skills, and a technical day model was implemented for young officers. Brigade personnel have implemented more than 45 technical projects and initiatives, including radar simulation software and software simulating missile flight trajectories.
