New Generation DNA Technology Training Started for Identification of Martyred Soldiers
A new generation DNA testing and technology transfer program has been launched in Vietnam to determine the identities of martyred soldiers.
The DNA Testing Center of the Institute of Biology under the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology has inaugurated a new generation DNA testing training and technology transfer program to be used in the identification of martyred soldiers.
Scope and Duration of the Training Program
The course, which will run until the end of the year, aims to specialize technical personnel in the process of analyzing and matching DNA data.
Applied Technological Methods
The program guides participants on analyzing samples taken from degraded remains using NGS-SNP and Microarray-SNP processes.
Technical Standards and Quality Control
The course also covers the standardization of procedures and quality control studies to meet the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
Developed Capacity and Objectives
The training program aims to increase the capacity of DNA testing facilities and create a core team capable of providing in-house guidance.
