Four Billion Lira Giant Sports Investments Continue Unabated in Malatya

Important figures of Turkish football and familiar faces of the sports press made various contacts in Malatya and inspected the new facilities. Malatya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Sami Er announced that sports investments amounting to 4 billion liras are being carried out in the city.

Visits Carried Out in Malatya

Erdoğan Arıkan, an experienced name in the sports press, and former national football players Hami Mandıralı, Tanju Çolak, and Ahmet Dursun came to Malatya for a series of programs.

The delegation had the opportunity to inspect the new investments in the city on-site under the guidance of Malatya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Sami Er.

Within the scope of the visits, the giant library brought to the city and the modern sports facilities under construction were examined in detail.

Details of Billion-Dollar Investments Shared

Malatya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Sami Er stated that they are carrying out intensive work to rebuild the city after the February 6 earthquakes.

Mayor Er noted that sports investments worth 4 billion liras are currently ongoing in the city, and the construction of a total of 43 sports facilities and 13 new libraries continues.

New Football Academy and Goals

Speaking during the program, former national football players Hami Mandıralı and Ahmet Dursun expressed their satisfaction by praising the infrastructure and institutionalization efforts in the city.

Tanju Çolak, on the other hand, gave the good news of an important project, stating that they plan to launch the "Tanju Çolak Football Academy" in Malatya.

Mayor Sami Er also added that they have the goal of carrying Yeşilyurtspor to the Super League.
