New Language Application for Vietnamese Families in South Korea

Introduction and Handover of the Application
The Vietnamese Language Learning Application, developed by the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, was delivered to the Vietnamese Embassy in South Korea at an official ceremony held in Seoul on October 1, 2026. The handover took place in the presence of Minister of Science and Technology Vu Hai Quan.
Target Audience and Purpose
This digital tool targets the children of more than 100,000 Vietnamese-Korean multicultural families across South Korea. The main purpose of the application is to enable children to learn Vietnamese, support them in preserving their cultural identities, and strengthen their ties with their homeland.

During his speech at the handover ceremony, Minister Vu Hai Quan particularly emphasized that science, technology, and innovation play a vital role in solving practical social problems.
Dissemination Efforts
The Vietnamese Embassy in South Korea will work in close coordination with local associations and relevant educational institutions to deliver the application to families in need.
