Projects Focused on Education, Science, and Culture Examined in Başiskele
Ongoing construction projects of Güzel İşler Primary School, the Children's Library, and the July 15 Science Center in Başiskele were inspected on-site by officials.
Construction work on three major investments implemented by the Başiskele Municipality in the fields of education, culture, science, and technology was inspected on-site, and information was received from authorities.
Projects Inspected On-Site
Mayor Yasin Özlü, along with AK Party Kocaeli Deputy Mehmet Akif Yılmaz and AK Party Başiskele District Chairman Mehmet Başyiğit, visited three major projects currently under construction in the district.
During the visit, detailed information was obtained from officials regarding the construction processes, technical details, and the current status of the work.
Güzel İşler Primary School and Kindergarten
The school project being built in Barbaros Neighborhood is planned to consist of 24 classrooms and 2 kindergarten classes.
The 3-story school, which has a total construction area of 4,020 square meters, is targeted to open in the 2027-2028 Academic Year.
Children's Library and Toy Museum
Rising within the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Park in Serdar Neighborhood, the facility is being built as a two-story structure on an area of approximately 2,800 square meters.
The center will feature a children's library, a toy museum, study areas, workshops, and a talk hall.
July 15 Science Center
The center, which is under construction on 17 August Boulevard in Yeşilyurt Neighborhood, is being implemented on an area of approximately 7,500 square meters.
The science center will include experimentation areas, study workshops, a planetarium, and the Center for Science Figures of Islamic History.
