Medicinal Plant Development Plan
The People's Committee of Quang Ngai province has issued a plan for the implementation of the Resolution on the development of medicinal plants in the province until 2030, with a vision extending to 2035. This plan aims to leverage the advantages of local resources.
Cultivation Area Targets
Quang Ngai aims to establish a concentrated medicinal plant area of approximately 5,227 hectares by 2030. Within this scope, various plants such as Ngoc Linh ginseng, cinnamon, and Ly Son garlic will be cultivated.
Integrated Chains and Investment
The provincial administration aims to establish integrated chains from seeds to consumption. It is planned to attract investment for large-scale enterprises to produce according to GMP standards.
Tourism and Cultural Integration
Cultural heritage, experiential, and community tourism will be promoted to increase the promotion of local medicinal products. This approach will combine raw material areas with tourist destinations.
Technological Solutions and Digital Transformation
The province will conduct tissue culture research and use IoT to monitor soil and moisture. Artificial intelligence and big data technologies will also be applied to reduce risks in production.
