Samsung launches new software betas for Galaxy Watch6 and S25 series
The South Korean tech giant has rolled out new beta updates containing new artificial intelligence and system features for its smartwatches and flagship phones.
Samsung has accelerated comprehensive software testing processes for its smartwatch ecosystem and flagship smartphones. In this context, the Wear OS 7-based beta program has been launched for the Galaxy Watch6 series, while One UI 9 Beta 2, featuring new artificial intelligence capabilities, has begun rolling out to the Galaxy S25 family.
Wear OS 7 Beta for Galaxy Watch6
The Wear OS 7-based One UI 9 Watch Beta program, which was previously initiated for higher-end watch models, is now accessible for the Galaxy Watch6 and Galaxy Watch6 Classic models as well.
During the beta process initiated in South Korea, updates are differentiated by various build numbers according to device sizes, and users can join the test program through the Samsung Members application.
Beta 2 Update for Galaxy S25 Series
Continuing its efforts on the smartphone side, the company has started delivering the One UI 9 Beta 2 update to users in India for its flagship Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra models.
Artificial Intelligence and New Features
With the new beta package, artificial intelligence tools announced with the Galaxy Z Fold8 model, such as Now Nudge, My FanCam, Call Brief, and Now Brief Custom Cards, have been activated on the S25 series.
Samsung is expected to gradually expand the testing processes to different regions and release the stable version to all compatible devices in the coming months.
