Science and Technology Calendar Prepared for Preschool Education Level
The Ministry of National Education has prepared a new calendar to introduce preschool children to science and technology at an early age.
The General Directorate of Basic Education of the Ministry of National Education has published a new activity calendar for preschool education within the scope of Science and Technology Week celebrated in schools.
Purpose of the Activity Calendar
Prepared for Science and Technology Week celebrated every year in schools between March 8 and 14, the calendar aims to help children take early steps into scientific processes. In this process, it aims to support children's skills in observing, asking questions, experimenting, and discovering.
Establishing a Connection with Daily Life
Thanks to the special content prepared, children are enabled to realize the relationship between science and technology and daily life. At the same time, various learning environments are created for them to recognize the effects of technology on human life.
Enriched Learning Experiences
In the calendar prepared by the General Directorate of Basic Education, numerous different methods that teachers can easily apply in classrooms are presented together. The activities were planned by integrating games, experiments, poems, rhymes, finger plays, and movement studies.
