Science and Technology Event Held for Students in Menteşe
Under the coordination of Muğla BİLSEM, students of Yeşilyurt Secondary School came together with various scientific and technological applications thanks to a TÜBİTAK-supported project.
Within the framework of the project carried out under the coordination of Muğla Science and Art Center, students in the Menteşe district participated in science and technology activities accompanied by academics.
Aim and Scope of the Project
The "Bringing Science and Technology to Villages" project, carried out under the coordination of Muğla Science and Art Center, was implemented within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 4009 Science and Society Support Program.
With this project, it is aimed to bring science and technology together with students studying in rural areas.
Applied Science Activities
Yeşilyurt Secondary School students in Menteşe participated in various applications accompanied by academics from Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University and expert trainers.
Students gained experience in activities such as sky observation, microscopic examination, virtual reality, and flight simulation.
Information for Parents and Objectives
The organized event aimed to develop students' scientific thinking, research, and exploration skills.
Additionally, informative sessions on digital addiction were held for parents during the event.
