The Vietnam Atomic Energy Institute (VINATOM) and the International Centre for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE) signed a strategic cooperation protocol on August 25, 2026, aimed at enhancing scientific research and educational capacity.

Scope and Objectives of the Cooperation

The agreement, signed by Dr. Tran Chi Thanh and Professor Tran Thanh Van, focuses on deepening research in the field of nuclear technology and training highly qualified human resources.

The protocol aims to integrate the Vietnamese scientific community more effectively into global networks, bringing the country's scientific infrastructure up to international standards.

Technical Infrastructure and Academic Integration

VINATOM's technical infrastructure in nuclear physics, nuclear medicine, and radiation technology will be combined with ICISE's extensive international academic network to conduct joint projects.

Through this partnership, it is planned to carry out more comprehensive studies in the areas of expertise required by the nuclear energy sector.

Scientific Interaction and Expert Exchange

International conferences and workshops to be organized within the scope of the cooperation will allow young scientists to interact directly with Nobel laureate experts.

Additionally, incentive programs will be implemented to encourage Vietnamese scientists working abroad to return to the country and contribute to the atomic energy industry.
