TEKNOFEST 2026 Competitions Concluded in Diyarbakır

Organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the T3 Foundation in Diyarbakır, the TEKNOFEST 2026 competitions concluded with the participation of thousands of young people from different countries.

Competition Schedule and Venues

The event, carried out under the main coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Turkey Technology Team Foundation, took place on September 16-18 at the Dicle University July 15 Congress and Culture Center.

The continuation of the organization was held on September 18-20 at the Mesopotamia International Fair and Congress Center, successfully bringing it to a close.

Broad International Participation

While finalist teams engaged in a fierce competition across 11 different categories, the organization saw participation from numerous different countries alongside Turkey.

Approximately 3,000 children and young people participated from the USA, Italy, the UK, Georgia, Greece, the TRNC, Kosovo, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Azerbaijan, and Indonesia.

In this major organization featuring a total of 677 finalist teams, young participants had the opportunity to showcase and develop their projects.

Award Ceremony Details

Following five days of thrilling competition, the successful teams that managed to rank in the top three in each category were determined.

The awards for the winning contestants will be presented to their owners within the scope of the Southeastern TEKNOFEST to be held in Şanlıurfa at a later date.

Yahya Akıl, TEKNOFEST Advisory Board Member and T3 Foundation Diyarbakır Provincial Coordinator, emphasized the intense interest and participation shown in the five-day competitions.

Students and teams participating in the competition also expressed their satisfaction with the organization process and shared their experiences.
