TEKNOFEST 2026 Swarm UAV Competition Kicks Off in Gaziantep

The finals of the Swarm UAV Competition, organized under TEKNOFEST 2026 under the management of Havelsan, have started in Gaziantep, with 19 finalist teams competing for autonomous tasks.

Grand Finals Begin in Gaziantep

The finals of the Swarm UAV Competition, held within the scope of TEKNOFEST 2026 under the management of Havelsan, have commenced in Gaziantep.

The final excitement, taking place between September 7 and 11, serves as a stage for young technology teams to showcase their autonomous systems.

Competition Tasks and Autonomy

Young technology teams competing in the finals are vying in tasks involving dynamic swarm capability and semi-autonomous swarm control.

The ability of unmanned aerial vehicles to perform tasks in coordination with each other plays a critical role in future defense and civil applications.

Broad Participation and Finalist Provinces

While a total of 165 teams and 806 members applied for the competition, 19 teams and 171 members earned the right to make it to the finals.

The finalists are participating from Sakarya, Kırşehir, Konya, Erzurum, Adana, İstanbul, Erzincan, Kocaeli, Bursa, Ankara, Tokat, and Elâzığ.

Awards and Supporting Institutions

Those who rank in the organization, spearheaded by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Industry and Technology and the T3 Foundation, are rewarded.

While the first-place prize is set at 300 thousand TL, the second-place is 250 thousand TL, and the third-place is 200 thousand TL, special awards are also presented.
