TEKNOFEST UAV Competitions Concluded in Malatya

The TEKNOFEST UAV Competitions, organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Turkey Technology Team Foundation in Malatya, have successfully concluded, and the top-ranking participants have been rewarded.

Conclusion of the Competitions

The Unmanned Aerial Vehicle competitions within the scope of TEKNOFEST, led by the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Turkey Technology Team Foundation, have ended in Malatya.

Following the organization, which witnessed fierce competition with the participation of a total of 110 teams, a closing and award ceremony was held at Tulga Airport for the successful teams.

Malatya Governor Seddar Yavuz and TÜBİTAK Vice President Prof. Dr. Mesut Güner attended the award ceremony held at Tulga Airport.

In addition to protocol members, representatives of various institutions and organizations, as well as the families of the competing youth, took part in the ceremony.

Evaluations by Governor Yavuz

Malatya Governor Seddar Yavuz shared his satisfaction with discussing science and technology in a city that experienced the earthquake disaster and where hopes are greening once again.

Yavuz drew attention to the critical importance of the National Technology Move, emphasizing that investing in new-generation technologies is essential, particularly in the field of the defense industry.

Support Given to Youth

TÜBİTAK Vice President Prof. Dr. Mesut Güner pointed out the value of becoming successful engineers, scientists, and technology entrepreneurs.

Prof. Dr. Güner stated that they will continue to resolutely support the work of young people in the field of technology.

Following the opening and protocol speeches, the award ceremony commenced.

The awards and trophies were presented by officials to the teams that managed to achieve rankings in the competitions.
