Para Dergisi's 16th New Generation Entrepreneurship Summit was held on August 25 with the main theme of Women and Innovation in Science and Technology.
Educational Success is Not Carried Over to Business Life
It was announced that the completion rate of STEM education among women in Turkey reaches 91 percent, but only 27 percent of female STEM graduates are employed in their field.
Drawing attention to the fact that the representation rate of women in the technology sector is still below 10 percent, it was stated that this situation needs to be changed.
Women's Entrepreneurship Institute
According to data from the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the proportion of women among the founding partners or active partners with the highest share in technology startups in Turkey is at the level of 13 percent.
Innovative Classroom Projects
It was stated that Innovative Classroom projects have been implemented in 81 provinces by the Ministry of National Education in order to develop STEM education and digital skills.
