Daily Usage and Time Restrictions
In accordance with the agreement, the daily TikTok usage of children in Alabama will be limited to two hours. Along with this regulation, various restrictions will be introduced on children's access to the application at night and during school hours.
Parental Controls and Payment Conditions
TikTok will implement new measures enabling parents to more comprehensively monitor their children's activities on the platform. While the company is required to make the specified $100 million payment within 45 days under the settlement, there is a risk of an additional payment of up to $300 million in the event of non-compliance with the rules.
