Scope of the Nuclear Energy Program
The Ninh Thuan 1 and Ninh Thuan 2 nuclear power plant projects are at the center of the restarted program to ensure the country's energy security. These projects are being carried out in alignment with the 2035 Atomic Energy Development Strategy.
Political Determination and Preparation Process
Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee officials stated that land clearance work for the Ninh Thuan projects is being accelerated and a high level of political determination is being demonstrated in establishing the necessary infrastructure conditions.

The Ministry of Science and Technology emphasizes that nuclear energy is a field requiring high expertise. Stating that safety and security come above all else, it is expressed that safety will not be compromised for short-term gains.
