Vocci Introduces New Ring-Designed Device for Meeting Notes
The Vocci smart ring, developed to record meetings and take voice notes, has been introduced to users.
Adding a new alternative in the form factor of a ring to the meeting note-taking market, which features various hardware types like pendants and cards, Vocci has launched its new voice recording device with a price tag of $249.
Ring Design and Ease of Use
The new smart ring developed by Vocci offers a practical form factor that allows users to easily start recording by pressing a button. Recording can be started and stopped by double-clicking the button on the device.
Technical Specifications and Battery Life
Weighing less than six grams and utilizing titanium material on its inner and outer surfaces, the device can record notes continuously for eight hours on a single charge. Its plastic case has the capacity to charge the ring three times.
Software Experience and Privacy Debates
While the hardware was found successful, the software part received criticism for being confusing and lacking direct integration with reminder applications. Additionally, the indicator light facing toward the user brings privacy concerns along with it.
