An electronic software company operating in Sakarya Technopark has developed a wearable vibration device named Signal Life, aiming to improve the quality of life for Parkinson's patients as a result of a two-year R&D study.

Design and Working Principle of the Device

Developed by the company at Sakarya Technopark located on the Sakarya University Central Campus, Signal Life operates on the principle of mechanical vibration technology.

Designed as a wristband suitable for daily use, this supportive product can be easily used without the need for wireless connection technologies such as bluetooth or Wi-Fi.

Technical Specifications and Usage Duration

The patent-pending device contributes to patients experiencing tremor problems moving more independently in daily life thanks to the special frequencies it applies.

Thanks to its charging infrastructure, it can be used continuously for a total of 6 hours with a charging time of only 30 minutes.

Expert Opinion and Clinical Results

Baran Oğuz, the owner of the software technology company, stated that the device is a neuromodulation system that sends counter-vibrations to the brain in order to balance erroneous neurological signals caused by dopamine deficiency.

Oğuz emphasized that 50 people were reached during the R&D period, thousands of people started using the product in a short time, and 98 percent positive results were obtained from patients within 8 weeks.

Patient Experiences and Feedback

Mustafa Kemal Demirdelen, a 63-year-old Parkinson's patient who uses the device, stated that his severe tremors decreased, his night sleep became regular, and he began to move more comfortably.

Ayşe Erdoğan, a 55-year-old housewife, expressed that after starting to use the product, her spasms eased, her posture improved, and she could now carry objects like cups more comfortably.
