Yeşilyurt Science Center Has Trained 1,500 Students Since July
Having opened its doors in July, the center offers a next-generation educational environment that increases children's curiosity for science and develops their research and inquiry skills.
Supported by the Ministry of Industry and Technology and TÜBİTAK, the Yeşilyurt Science Center has brought 1,500 students together with applied science and technology education in various branches since July.
Activities of the Center
Realized with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and TÜBİTAK, and the efforts of the Yeşilyurt Municipality R&D Directorate, the Yeşilyurt Science Center brings children and youth together with the world of production.
New Term Registrations
Continuing its activities within the scope of the 2026-2027 Academic Year, 302 students applied for the center's TEKNOFEST trainings, while 194 students registered for other applied trainings.
Statement by the Mayor
Yeşilyurt Mayor Prof. Dr. İlhan Geçit stated that they are pleased with the intense interest shown in the center and expressed that investment in science and technology is an investment in the future.
