Young Vietnamese in Europe Connect Over Technology at SiviCamp 2026
SiviCamp 2026, which brings together Vietnamese youth studying and working across Europe, concluded in Frankfurt am Main with events focused on artificial intelligence and innovation.
More than 200 youth and students from Germany and various European countries gathered in the city of Frankfurt am Main for the science and technology-focused SiviCamp 2026 event.
SiviCamp 2026 Took Place in Frankfurt
Organized in collaboration with the Vietnamese Student Association in the Federal Republic of Germany, the Vietnam-Germany Innovation Network, and the Frankfurt am Main Vietnamese Student Association, the gathering was held from September 17 to 20.
The event aimed to unite young Vietnamese intellectuals in Europe within the fields of technology and innovation.
Artificial Intelligence and Innovation-Focused Program
The organization, attended by over 200 youth and students from European countries, focused on science, technology, innovation, and human resources development.
Participants were inspired with the core message that artificial intelligence has to start somewhere.
SiviHack 2026 Technology Competition
Designed for the first time for young Vietnamese people in Europe, the technology innovation competition SiviHack 2026 kicked off its activities with an opening ceremony.
Around 100 contestants from countries such as Germany, Hungary, France, the Netherlands, and Ukraine shared in this excitement.
Opening Ceremony and Protocol Speeches
The opening ceremony took place on September 17 and started with a broad participant profile.
Consul General of Frankfurt am Main Luu Xuan Dong, VGI President Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thinh, and Association President Phung Van Uoc delivered speeches.
24 Hours of Continuous Competition
A total of 14 teams participating in the competition fought continuously for 24 hours to develop their products and produce solutions.
SIVITA 2026 Gala and Award Ceremony
At the SIVITA 2026 Gala held on September 19, the competition results were announced to the public, and the winning teams were awarded.
The grand prize was won by team Devawps No. 1 from Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences.
Award-Winning Teams
The second place prize went to team DDL No. 4, while the third place prize was presented to team mosAIc No. 11.
The Devawps team and the Asia Sensation team also won first place prizes in different categories.
