Youth Union 2027 Work Program and Digital Transformation Goals Determined
At the meeting held in Thai Nguyen city, the improvement of the quality of grassroots organizations and the emphasis on technology were highlighted.
The Permanent Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee has determined the theme of the 2027 work program to be improving the quality of organizations at the grassroots level, and decided to promote science, technology, and digital transformation.
Location and Participants of the Meeting
The 2nd meeting of the 13th term of the Permanent Committee of the Youth Union Central Committee was held in Thai Nguyen in a hybrid format.
Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, and Bui Quang Huy, First Secretary of the Youth Union Central Committee, attended the conference.
Theme of the 2027 Work Program
The main theme proposed for the Youth Union's 2027 work program and youth movement was announced as "Improving the quality of local Youth Union organizations."
Current Status of Local Organizations
Bui Quang Huy, First Secretary of the Youth Union Central Committee, stated that local Youth Union organizations still have certain limitations.
It was noted that these organizations do not yet fully meet the requirements of gathering and uniting youth.
Science, Technology, and Digital Transformation
In his opening speech, Trinh Xuan Truong emphasized that youth must specialize in the fields of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
Four Main Areas for Consultation
Within the scope of the conference, issues regarding the commemoration of significant historical events and following the example of Uncle Ho were addressed.
Additionally, opinions were gathered under the headings of increasing the quality of grassroots organizations and evaluating the working framework for the 2027-2031 period.
