Turkey's First Place in Effective Sermon Presentation Competition Goes to Kayseri
Religious officials who ranked in the 10th Effective Sermon Presentation Competition Turkey Final held in Amasya have been announced.
Yusuf Say from Kayseri became the winner of the 10th Effective Sermon Presentation Competition Turkey Final, organized by the Presidency of Religious Affairs in Amasya within the scope of the Week of Mosques and Religious Officials.
Final Program Held in Amasya
The 10th Effective Sermon Presentation Competition Turkey Final took place with a program held at the Sultan II. Bayezid Mosque in Amasya.
Protocol Speeches and Opening
Beginning with the recitation of the Holy Quran, the organization featured an opening speech by Provincial Mufti İbrahim Yavuz.
Amasya Governor Önder Bakan also delivered a speech at the program, congratulating all the religious officials who participated in the competition.
Evaluation Criteria and Process
Commission Chairman Turgut Erhan informed the participants about the procedures, principles, and evaluation criteria of the competition.
Religious officials who qualified for the finals from 10 regions of Turkey successfully presented the sermons determined by drawing lots.
Turkey Rankings Determined
The contestants were evaluated by the jury members in terms of effective rhetoric, command of the subject, style, and presentation skills.
Yusuf Say from Kayseri finished first, Adem Çiftçi from Bursa second, and Furkan Demirci from İstanbul third in the competition.
