Türkiye Earned $2.5 Billion in Revenue from Hazelnut Exports in the 2025-2026 Season

Türkiye generated over $2.5 billion in foreign currency revenue during the 2025-2026 hazelnut export season. According to the official statement, both the export volume and value showed a decline compared to the previous period.

General Figures of the Export Season

Türkiye has concluded the hazelnut export season covering the period from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2026. During this period, sales made abroad provided a significant contribution to the national economy.

Foreign Currency Revenue and Sales Volume

According to a written statement from the Black Sea Hazelnut and Products Exporters' Association, 197,085 tons of hazelnuts were sold abroad during the period in question. The total revenue obtained from these sales was recorded as $2,509,526,039.

Comparison with the Previous Season

In the previous season, $2,558,540,904 in revenue was generated from the export of 309,064 tons of hazelnuts. The released data clearly revealed the changes between the two periods.

Changes in Volume and Value

According to the calculations, exports decreased by 111,979 tons compared to the previous season, marking a 36 percent decline in volume. The decrease in total value remained at the 2 percent level, amounting to $49,014,865.
