Weather Forecast and Heavy Precipitation Warning Nationwide from Meteorology
While air temperatures across the country are running below seasonal norms, authorities have urged caution against potential adverse conditions.
According to assessments by the General Directorate of Meteorology, heavy showers are expected in various regions of the country. In line with the latest forecasts, a yellow-code warning has been issued for a total of 19 provinces.
General Weather Forecasts
According to the latest assessments, the weather across our country is forecasted to be partly to mostly cloudy. Precipitation is expected in parts of the Mediterranean, Black Sea, and Eastern Anatolia regions.
Areas Expected to Receive Heavy Precipitation
The precipitation is projected to be locally heavy around Malatya, Elazığ, and Adıyaman. Citizens are urged to exercise caution against potential adverse conditions.
19 Provinces Issued a Yellow Code
A yellow-code warning was issued for the provinces of Adıyaman, Ağrı, Bingöl, Bitlis, Diyarbakır, Elazığ, Erzurum, Hakkari, Hatay, and Kars. Additionally, Malatya, Muş, Siirt, Tunceli, Van, Batman, Şırnak, Iğdır, and Osmaniye are among the provinces given warnings.
