Wide-scale precipitation expected across Turkey following temperature rise
According to meteorological reports, temperatures will rise starting from the western regions across Turkey, followed by a rainy weather wave affecting the entire country in the new week.
According to the weekly weather forecast report published by the Turkish State Meteorological Service, temperatures are expected to rise starting from the western parts towards the weekend in Turkey, while a wide-scale precipitation wave that will affect the entire country is expected in the first days of the new week.
Weekly Weather Forecast Report
The Turkish State Meteorological Service shared the current weekly weather forecast report covering October 8-14 with the public.
According to the latest forecast maps shared, an active and changeable weather wave that will change in a short time will be effective across Turkey.
Haze and Local Showers
In the early hours of the day, dense haze and local fog events are experienced across Marmara, Northern Aegean, and the interior parts of the Western Black Sea.
Starting from noon hours, thundershowers come to the fore along the Central Anatolia, Black Sea, and Eastern Anatolia lines.
Weekend Temperature Increase
Starting from Friday in the western regions, temperatures are expected to increase gradually across the country.
For example, the highest temperature in Istanbul, which is 21 degrees on Thursday, will climb up to 25 degrees by Sunday.
New Precipitation Wave Approaching
While a new rainy system will enter the country via Thrace on Sunday, local showers will also be seen on the Eastern Mediterranean coasts.
Starting from Monday, a wide-scale precipitation wave originating from the west and south will spread across all of Turkey on Tuesday and Wednesday.
