It is alleged that the 10 individuals facing legal action in Minnesota made false statements regarding their citizenship in order to vote, or voted despite not being citizens. It was stated that all of the defendants hold lawful permanent resident status.

It was noted that the charges in question cover events during the 2022 and 2024 general elections and the 2026 primary elections. At this stage, it was recorded that at least three defendants have denied the charges and pleaded not guilty.
