A Walk Was Organized in Çekmeköy Within the Scope of World Elders' Day
The event held in Istanbul drew attention to healthy aging and the participation of the elderly in social life.
Hosted by the Istanbul Provincial Directorate Elderly Services Unit and Çekmeköy Municipality, the 'Walking Together for Healthy Aging' walk was held on the occasion of October 1 World Elders' Day.

A meaningful organization was held in Istanbul under the coordination of the Provincial Directorate Elderly Services Unit and hosted by Çekmeköy Municipality.
Protocol Participation
Deputy Governor Mr. Erhan Günay, Çekmeköy District Governor Mr. Ömer Bilgin, and Çekmeköy Mayor Mr. Orhan Çerkez attended the program held at Şehit Arif Kalafat Park.
Emphasis on Healthy Living
The walk, carried out together with the elders, drew attention to a healthy and active life, and was followed by a breakfast program.
