During flydubai flight FZ1073 from Dubai to Tel Aviv, Captain Pilot Smit Machchhar was injured in an attack by his co-pilot. Machchhar underwent surgery in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, and was subsequently transferred to the UAE for medical treatment.
