Following the US nighttime airstrikes against Iran, the Tehran administration carried out drone attacks on Kuwait and Bahrain. It was stated that Bahraini air defense systems intercepted the attacks.

Iranian Media Claims Wedding Target and Casualties

Iranian state media announced that a house in the southern town of Kuhestak was targeted and that four people, including two children and two women, lost their lives in this attack, while dozens were injured.

Tanker Attack in the Strait of Hormuz

A Saudi-flagged crude oil tanker caught fire after being attacked while passing through the Strait of Hormuz, resulting in the deaths of two Filipino crew members. It was reported that the remaining surviving crew members will be sent back to their home countries.

Diplomatic Contacts and Calls for Negotiation

High-level diplomats from Egypt, Qatar, and Pakistan called on the US and Iran to return to the negotiating table in accordance with the collapsed ceasefire agreement. The leaders of China and Egypt also met in Cairo to evaluate efforts to de-escalate tensions.

Following the clashes with the US and tensions over control of the Strait of Hormuz, the Iranian currency market hit its lowest level in history. In the Tehran market, one US dollar traded at 2.20 million rials.
