Danish Intelligence Warns of Russian Attack on NATO Country
Danish defense intelligence has reported that Russia could stage a limited military attack or hybrid operations against a NATO country within months.
According to a Danish intelligence report, Russia could carry out a limited military attack against a NATO country or intensify its hybrid operations in the coming months.

In a report published on Thursday, the Danish defense intelligence service stated that there is an increased risk of Russia launching long-range attacks on NATO infrastructure supporting Ukraine or carrying out a limited intervention with a small force in a neighboring country.
Fire at Starlink Station in Poland
The report was made public hours after a nighttime fire at a Starlink satellite station in central Poland, which local authorities described as deliberate sabotage. Polish Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski said the fire was designed to disable the station.
Sabotage Against European Infrastructure
While Starlink holds a critical position in Ukrainian military communications, the incident coincided with growing suspicions of sabotage across Europe targeting infrastructure supporting Ukraine. Earlier this month, Germany blamed Russia for a drone attack attempt on Leipzig/Halle Airport.
Expectation of Intensified Hybrid Attacks
The Danish service stated that Russia is expected to increase its hybrid attacks in the coming months, including destructive cyberattacks paralyzing societal functions and sabotage acts carrying a high risk of loss of life.
NATO Article 5 and Alliance Debates
The intelligence service noted that a direct Russian invasion of a NATO country remains a very low probability, but it cannot be ruled out. The report emphasized that there is a risk of Russia testing NATO's Article 5 in the belief that the U.S. might be reluctant to support its European allies.
