Finding themselves in a difficult financial situation, the family requested assistance from the government due to potential difficulties in bringing the body back to India. Majlis Bachao Tehreek spokesperson Amjed Ullah Khan shared the letter written by the father to External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar.
Last Call and Phone Call from the Roommate
Mohammed Zakir Hussain stated that his son got married in Texas on August 28 and subsequently returned to Massachusetts. The news of the young engineer's death, who had last spoken with his family on September 14, was delivered by his roommate about eight hours later.
Education and Career Background in the US
Hussain, who went to the US in 2021 to pursue his master's degree, graduated from the University of New Haven and had worked as a civil engineer at various companies.
