European Union Reacts to Russian Train Attack
European Union's top diplomat Kaja Kallas emphasized that Europe will not be deterred after a passenger train was hit near the Ukraine-Poland border.

It was reported that shortly before the attack, a train carrying high-level figures, including former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and former CIA Director David Petraeus, had passed through the area.

European leaders condemned the attacks in statements made on Monday, with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot stating that the purpose of the attacks was to frighten and divide Europeans.

Speaking at an Arctic conference in Finland, Kaja Kallas stated that the attack was a clear message to the western world, noting that they must instead show they stand by Ukraine.

In attacks carried out across Ukraine overnight with more than 450 Russian drones and missiles, at least six people lost their lives and over forty people were injured.

Following the attacks, air raid warnings were issued in Poland, while Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk warned that the increasing attacks could affect his country.
