Events Organized within the Scope of the 2026 National Innovation Day

Within the scope of the 2026 National Innovation Day, to be celebrated under the theme 'Innovation - The Driving Force of All Society's Development,' the Ministry of Science and Technology has requested the organization of various events across the country to spread the spirit of innovation and promote technology transfer.
National Innovation Day Decree
Pursuant to Government Decree No. 268/2025/ND-CP, October 1 of each year is celebrated as National Innovation Day under the chairmanship of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
Theme and Purpose of the Celebrations
The slogan 'Innovation - The Driving Force of All Society's Development' forms the basis of the 2026 events. These activities aim to raise social awareness and encourage individuals to invest in technology.
Programs to Take Place in Hanoi
The Ministry of Science and Technology is preparing to host major organizations in the city of Hanoi during the busy week between late September and early October.
Central Celebration and Award Ceremony
The main event, serving as the center of the celebrations, will be held on October 4 at the National Convention Center, where awards in various categories will find their recipients.
Reports and Exhibitions
Within the scope of the program, the 2026 Annual Innovation Report and the Local Innovation Index will be announced, and the Vietnam InnoShow 2026 exhibition will open its doors.
Global Innovation Index Success
According to the report published by the World Intellectual Property Organization, Vietnam reached a notable position, ranking 44th out of 139 countries.
