Father and son from Muğla become Turkish champions in modern pentathlon
Muğla AFAD personnel Barış Adan and his son Barkın Adan secured a visa for the World Cup in Portugal with their successes in modern pentathlon competitions.
Barış Adan, personnel of the Muğla Provincial Directorate of Disaster and Emergency Management (AFAD), along with his son Barkın Adan, won the Turkish championship with their degrees in the Modern Pentathlon Triathle competitions and earned the right to participate in the World Cup in Portugal.
Success Reaching the Turkish Championship
Barış Adan, working as a technician within Muğla AFAD, achieved a significant degree in the Modern Pentathlon Triathle National Ranking competitions held on September 17.
Reaching the Turkish championships in the Master 40+ category and the PUS classification, the experienced athlete had also won a gold medal in the Alanya leg of the season.
Significant Degree from the Young Athlete
Sweating it out within the Muğla Altın Kulaç Swimming Academy Sports Club, Barkın Adan showed the success of ranking third in the Turkish PUS standings in the U9 category.
Drawing attention with this performance, the young athlete achieved a significant degree at the national level.
World Cup Visa in Portugal
Prepared under the supervision of Modern Pentathlon National Team Coach Alperen Efe Baykara, the successful father and son earned the right to wear the national jersey with the national degrees they obtained.
The duo will represent Turkey at the Modern Pentathlon World Cup organization to be held in Portugal between October 26-29.
International Goals and Preparations
Making Muğla proud, the successful family continues their preparations uninterruptedly for the organization in Portugal.
