New photos of Nicolás Maduro were published on Sunday through his official social media accounts on the X platform. These frames mark the first official images seen from the New York prison since Maduro's capture in January.

In the photos, the former leader is seen wearing a gray tracksuit and white sneakers, standing in front of a plain wall and appearing leaner compared to the past.

Message Sent to His Family and Supporters

Maduro stated that he shared these photos as a small gift of hope to his family and supporters. In his message, stating that they will remain strong, calm, and self-confident, Maduro argued that Venezuela will be reborn.

Trial Process and June 2027 Date

According to the timestamps on the photos, it was understood that the frames were taken on June 25. Nicolás Maduro and his wife Cilia face drug trafficking charges in New York and will appear before a judge in June 2027; the couple denies these charges and maintains they are innocent.
