GODIVA is celebrating its 100th anniversary with the Centennial Collection Art Edition collaboration brought to life with contemporary artist Ekrem Yalçındağ. International launches continue in various countries, starting from Shanghai.
The Route of the Centennial Celebrations
GODIVA's 100-year journey began in Japan and the United States with a special chocolate box representing each decade of the brand. The celebrations will conclude in Riyadh, Istanbul, and Belgium, following Shanghai.
The Meeting of Art and Chocolate
Prepared by Ekrem Yalçındağ, who has a long-standing art practice in Europe, this special collection interprets the relationship between art and chocolate through two different designs. The designs were also transferred to chocolate molds.
"Feels Like Home" Approach
The "Feels Like Home" idea, which forms the starting point of the work, feeds on repetition, rhythm, and color. The concept draws inspiration from memories brought to life by scent and taste transporting a person to special moments.
Tablets and Carres Series
Produced in a limited edition of 5,000 worldwide, the Tablets selection is offered with a special commemorative card. The Carres series is inspired by the artist's 2014 work titled Impressions from the Yıldız Holding Art Collection.
