Iran has announced that it has no connection to the incident on a flydubai flight where an Omani co-pilot attacked the crew after takeoff, stating that the allegations rely on fabricated evidence.

Iran's Response to the Allegations

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baghaei stated that the allegations regarding the flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv are based on fabricated evidence.

In the statement, it was argued that efforts to link the country to this incident constitute a false flag operation built on rigged evidence.

Events During the Flight

During the incident that occurred at the end of September, Omani co-pilot Hamam al-Hammami attacked Captain Smit Machchhar mid-air with the intention of crashing the aircraft.

Captain Machchhar managed to open the cockpit door as the aircraft lost approximately 14,000 feet of altitude, and the attacker was subdued with the help of passengers.

Safe Landing of the Aircraft

The remaining flight crew took over management and successfully landed the aircraft safely in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.

Following the incident, international authorities and security units of various countries have begun investigating the background of the co-pilot in question.

International Investigation Process

The United Arab Emirates is leading the ongoing investigation, stating that reviews indicate the co-pilot attempted to carry out a terrorist act.

Meanwhile, Australian and Israeli authorities have also placed the individual's connections and background under review.
