Kindergarten Students in Cary Become Reporters on World News Day

Young students studying at The Goddard School of Cary – Lochmere in Cary stepped into reporting for a day to celebrate World News Day.
Little Journalists at Work
Kindergarten students in the Cary area experienced pleasant and educational moments in their classrooms as part of World News Day celebrations.
For this special day, the students displayed good news collages they prepared themselves and were introduced to the journalism profession.
News Studios Set Up in the Classroom
Children created special news studios in their classrooms equipped with microphones, press cards, and toy cameras.
Sheetal Kedia, co-owner of the school, pointed out that young students and journalists share common traits such as curiosity and story-sharing.
Special Visit and Celebration
Within the scope of the events, WRAL Anchor Ashley Rowe also visited the school to meet with the children and share her experiences.
