Opening Session of the Program
The event, held at the Yeditepe University Koşuyolu Hospital Conference Hall, began with the opening speech of Quality Improvement Coordinator Sevgi Nazlı Köprülü Güngör.
Presentations by Expert Names
Many specialist physicians and healthcare professionals from various branches made presentations within the scope of the program and shared their knowledge and experiences with the participants.
Chronic Kidney Failure
Prof. Dr. Gülçin Kantarcı, a Specialist in Internal Medicine and Nephrology, emphasized that type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure are the most frequent causes of chronic kidney failure.
Cardiovascular Health
Prof. Dr. Tijen Alkan Bozkaya, a Cardiovascular Surgery Specialist, stated that cardiovascular diseases rank at the top of the causes of death.
Patient Safety and Awareness
Prof. Dr. Tuğhan Utku stated that the aim is to increase awareness so that patients do not suffer additional harm during healthcare services and receive safe care.
